About Us

Who We Are

We are an amateur photography club that meets on the first Tuesday of every month (February to December).

We submit photographs for judging according to a monthly, fun and challenging theme as well as in an open category.

We run 1-5 star categories and there is ample space to improve your photography skills with many experienced members, training sessions and fun outings.

Our History

The club was established in 2008 with the name “Interesting People Take Interesting Photographs” or the acronym, IPIP.

The club was started mainly for members to learn more about photography while having fun.

In the beginning submitted photographs were printed and hung up on the walls at every meeting, we’ve since taken a more modern approach.

Our Ethos

The ethos of our club is one of participation and we encourage all members to:

  • Attend monthly meetings
  • Share photos with the other club members and submit them for judging
  • Participate in club outings and instructional workshops
  • Give advice to members who require assistance
  • Submit content to the monthly newsletter
  • Have a fun time with fellow photographers
